These are the rules that Ben (Paul Rudd) need to follow as he tries to reshape his life as a caregiver.
His first task? Trevor (played by Red Oaks‘ Craig Roberts), a sarcastic little bugger suffering from DMD (a form of muscular dystrophy) who has never left his living room due to his overbearing mothers’ fear of something going wrong while out of the house.
Instead Trevor watches TV all day, admiring roadside attractions from the comfort of the house…until Ben changes that all and gets him to go on a road trip filled with firsts.
Firsts including driving more than an hour away, having beef jerky, exploring the largest Bovine and the deepest pit, as well as the best part for Trevor…his first real conversation with a girl, Dot (played by Selena Gomez).
This movie is a fun watch, rated for adults, and gets a 7.5 out of 10.
