Ever wonder how many emails you get a day? I often wonder, especially since I delete most of them as soon as they come in.
So yesterday I decided to count up what came in, and how many of them were just completely useless (and likely unopened).
All these are from my primary email account:
July 9:
44 Emails
43 Now in my trash
16 Actually opened
July 8:
46 Emails
40 Now in my trash
16 Actually opened
Coincidentally both days had the same amount of emails opened.
Most of the emails were “junk”y from companies I actually use, such as Amazon and/or YouTube.
The YouTube emails are notifications, but stuff I ignore most of the time, while the Amazons are good to glance at for deals…IF the subject line pulls me in.
All of this doesn’t include tons of emails I get in my work email daily.
