Aviously

Because, aviously…

Special Correspondents is a Netflix movie, written and directed by Ricky Gervais.

Ian Finch (Gervais) works for Q365 News in New York City as a chief sound engineer, alongside the stations star rule bending lead journalist Frank Bonneville (Eric Bana).
When Bonneville gets sent to Ecuador, to cover a rebel coup, Finch mistakenly throws out their passports, tickets and money, leaving them stranded in New York.
In an effort to save their jobs, the duo file false reports with background noise filtered in and even “go missing”, leaving those “back home” worried and raising money for their safe arrival back home.

“Danger is my middle name” – Bonneville
“Mine’s Dennis.” – Finch

Gervais is known for his humor, wit and dryness, and all of those show in this movie, which also stars America Ferrera, Kelly Macdonald, Kevin Pollak and Vera Farmiga.

This movie gets an 8 out of 10 and is a recommended enjoyable watch, for a lazy Sunday.
