Now You See Me is a 2013 movie starring Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman and Woody Harrelson.
Its sequel (Now You See Me 2) comes out this Friday.
The movie does not fool or disappoint, nor does it trick you into thinking it’s a great movie.
It is a magically enjoyable action-heist in which the main characters, The Four Horsemen, steal from the rich and give to the deserving, as their story intrigues the world, leading to the FBI and Interpol trying to track them down.
Come in closer, because the more you think you see, the easier it’ll be to fool you.
I am surprised that I hadn’t seen it until now, and it gets a solid 7.5 out of 10.
I had a few Issues with it. The twist seemed stupid to me. Maybe if the movie was following someone other than Ruffalo’s character, like a partner, it would have made more sense. But having him as the main character just made the ending silly and head scratching. Also, I’m annoyed the sequel wasn’t called “Now You Dont”
Ruffalo was on the Dan LeBetard show, and Dan by mistake called it “Now You Don’t See Me 2”.
