Aviously

Because, aviously…

It is time for what has become more frequent for Amazon: Pilot Season. When Amazon pushes out a few pilots and has us regular people vote on them and hope they become actual shows.

In previous years, shows like Sneaky Pete got the thumbs up, only to face years of delays, as we still wait for the show to come out.

One of the shows that came out this year, is a live-action remake of The Tick starring Peter Serafinowicz as The Tick.

The Tick Poster

Arthur was just a child when his father was killed in a superhero battle, and he has spent the years since looking for the evil supervillain “The Terror”, who is supposed to be dead under the hands of Superian.

While snooping around the docks and watching illegal imports come in, Arthur runs into The Tick, an unknown superhero whose powers range from super strong and bulletproof to agile and able to talk to Destiny.

The show is cheesy yet humorous, weird and quirky, and it is just so very very bad.

It gets a poor 6 out of 10, yet is one of those shows that is just so bad  that you want to come up with a new plan, and watch more of it.

  1. I have not seen it yet, but it’s a shame to hear that it wasn’t good. The original series with Patrick Warburton was hilarious.

      It’s terrible. You’ll love it 🙂
