I’ve had this topic in my drafts for the longest period of time, and decided to finally talk about it.
I had seen a Wells Fargo ad, which featured #HashtagLunchbag, and I had thought at the time “I should do something like that”…but of course I got lazy and didn’t do it.
To explain, their goal is: “#HashtagLunchbag is a movement dedicated to utilizing social media to bring awareness to and eliminate hunger in local communities.”
Yesterday I was reading a story about Rosa’s Fresh Pizza, in which they sell pizza for $1 a slice, and you can buy a slice for a homeless person or one in need (which can be done through here).
So with all this in mind, what store/organization can I partner with to start my own campaign? Or better yet, what can I do to make a similar push towards getting a wide support of charitable outgiving?
The best part of all the above suggestions is that they don’t cost much from each person donating (as little as $1), but they help promote a giving-culture, which I think can be just as important.
