Is their a better sporting event than an elimination game for both teams?
Winner moves on to the next round of the playoffs, and the loser goes home to play golf (or in hockey’s case, goes to play International Hockey…as hockey players never take off).
Tonight is Game 7 between the New York Rangers and Washington Capitals.
They have both thrown everything on the line. Let nothing go, and had their goalies stand on their heads to keep the games close.
All games this series have come down to a one-goal difference, with some of them being decided in Sudden-Death overtimes or the final seconds of the game.
So if anyone is wondering why my blood pressure is sky rocketing tonight, there’s your answer.
