Because, aviously…

Have you heard about the kidnapped children in Nigeria?

When did you hear about it?

Did you know that it happened on April 15th…more than 3 weeks ago…

As blogger Xeni Jardin says“Maybe if the more than 200 Nigerian girls abducted from their school weeks ago were on a ferry in Korea, a jet liner in the Indian Ocean, in the owner’s box at a Clippers basketball game, or were white, the world would pay more attention.”

How have we missed this.

How have we let this all pass.

Finally on Tuesday the United States got involved.

Talking to CBS News, President Obama said: “(We are) sending in a team of our military, law enforcement and other experts and we’re really glad that Nigeria has accepted the help.”

More than 300 girls were kidnapped by the Muslim terrorist organization known as Boko Haram, of which 275+ are still captive, and 53 have escaped. This group has killed thousands in the past, all in the name of strict Islamic law.

They’ve announced their plans for these children are to sell them or have them get married to members of Boko Haram.

Now you may ask: What did these school girls do, to deserve being kidnapped?

Well, it’s quite simple really: They were pursuing a ‘Western education’.

We, as America, need to stop wasting time and efforts and money on stupid ventures:

How about we turn a few of those dollars around and go after Abubakar Shekau, the leader of Boko Harem in Nigeria…a man ‘officially’ named as a terrorist by the US State Dep. in 2012, and has a bounty on his head of $7 million from the US and another 50 million Nigerian Naira.

And please, can someone just #BringBackOurGirls?
