It’s the end of an era. For years, we’ve grown to rely on something to be there for us in the NFL, but this year it is coming to an end.
Nope, I’m not talking about Peyton Manning. I’m talking about Roman Numerals. The NFL has gotten bored of their numbering system from the last 49 years, and changed this year to using actual numbers.
But let’s turn to the actual game, and who to root for.
The options are quite simple: The aging legend, in possibly his final hurrah vs. the charismatic youngster, enjoying the game.
While I would love to see Peyton Manning win one more before he walks away from the game, I’m leaning towards Cam Newton and the high flying Panthers.
My prediction: Carolina Panthers 35 – Denver Broncos 24
